‘SNL’ Star Colin Jost Is Renting Out His Montauk Beach House for $65K a Month

It looks like Colin Jost isn’t planning to spend the summer surfing.

Instead, the “Saturday Night Live” Weekend Update co-host is renting out his oceanfront home in Montauk, NY, at the eastern end of Long Island.

The four-bedroom, three-bath property is idyllic, with sea views and a sparkling pool—all ready for blissful summer leisure.

But before you start packing, you’ll have to dig deep—the breezy-chic rental is $65,000 a month. Jost has had the beach retreat since 2015, when he picked up the place for about $2.1 million.

The wry funnyman is doing quite well on the real estate front. He sold his West Village duplex in NYC last year for a tidy profit. Jost bought the two-bedroom, two-bath bachelor pad for about $1.7 million in 2011 and sold it for a little more than $2.3 million.

As for his beach life, here’s what he’ll miss this summer.

Ocean vistas fill the house from the decks and grassy lawn, all situated “south of the highway.” In Hamptons-speak, this means the home is in one of the area’s more desirable locations. The 2,600-square-foot abode is set on a hill, offering salty breezes and extra privacy.

The simple decor inside offers a mostly white palette, with pops of blue. Throughout the space, there are multiple decks and glass walls that flood the rooms with light. There’s a new Sub-Zero fridge in the open kitchen and a double fireplace in the main living space that warms the living and dining rooms.

The primary bedroom also has ocean views, its own deck, a wet bar, and walk-in closet. Other amenities include a steam shower, a bocce court, fire pit, heated pool, and a Sonos sound system with indoor and outdoor speakers.

Jost, who’s married to actress Scarlett Johansson, has been a part of “SNL” since 2005, when he joined as a staff writer. The comedian, author, and actor was made co-anchor of the show’s “Weekend Update” segment in 2014.
