This was designed for my Golden Retrievers, beloved dogs who love both mud and water. This may all sound grand, but what everyone who has visited has noticed is how cozy and welcoming the house is. It's a house for talking with friends, for having relaxed dinners, for sitting on the screened porch watching the sunsets and looking at the beauty of Wears Valley spread out before you, and hearing the church bells in the distance. It has been a house filled with laughter, with games and good times, and wonderful memories. Do I want to sell it? No. But we are older now and the time has come to downsize, to another wonderful house in wonderful Wears Valley that I haven't found yet and may have to build. Perhaps the reader can tell from what I've written that I love building houses, each one is different and has its own personality, and this house has the personality of a warm hug, joy, and endless beauty.
